MY LAVA LAMP PAGE
Here is the lava lamp chapter of my site. It shows my collection which I started in 2005 with my second lava lamp. I got my first lamp years earlier from my parents for Christmas. In early 2005 or late 2004, I decided that I needed some more. One was just not enough any more. I would like a whole row of them. A whole row in different colors. Well I got a lot more than that now. As of this writing (May 2022), I have over 150 lava lamps in my collection. I am good at collecting things. I have a lot of lava lamps and I have lot of good ones. I got a nice collection. I bought what I like rather than trying to get everything or what a collector is "supposed to have". I waited until I could get most of them at good prices. A few I had to bid high and pay up.

Here I have my first four limited edition multi color swirls with the original globes. There are actually four names to these not one. People call them hazes, probably because it is easier to say as it is a shorter phrase, but only the blue wax in clear liquid globe one is a haze (blue haze). The one with a red wax globe is called "retro red". The one released with a green wax globe is called "groovy green". The one with a purple wax globe is called "deep purple" like the rock group.
I thought these stickers were for decoration. I kept leaving them on when I used my globes. A few of them were on for years before I noticed them.
I don't throw away my used safety equipment. I find uses for it. The rubber gloves fit around the 32 oz caps keeping them from getting scratched.
A coworker thought it was funny to add my name to the wrecked forklift picture. Actually one day I was running around back and forth right before closing time and in front of two of my bosses taking a break. I had an auction for a coach lantern ending right before 5 PM. I was going back and forth frantically between the auction and finishing my last bit of work for the day. If I was on a forklist, I might have driven it over the edge.
