MY CUSTOM USB DRIVE PAGE

This is the starting page for my custom USB drive collection. I just started collecting these last year (2020). I upgraded my home computer and bought a laptop. I needed a few USB drives and started buying them. At first, I bought the regular looking ones. But this is not my personality; so I started buying some with character. I have character; so my USB drives should have some character too.
By custom USB drive, I am not talking about regular looking USB drives with company logos or personalizations done for the consumer or business to business customer. I am talking about drives that are modeled after every day objects such as watermelon slices or well known characters such as Charlie Brown. That is what I have here.
I have a lot of custom USB drives as you can see from the first picture. I do use them for backup, not just for looks. I do buy them for looks, though. I don't want to buy USB drives that are too serious any more. I want ones that don't take themselves too seriously, but get the job done. Most of them are USB 2.0 and not the newer 3.1 standard. That is all that I need. I usually aim for 32GB of space. That is a good amount. The drives cost almost as much now matter how small they are, but the price almost doubles when you go to 64 GB.
You can buy these in China. That's where they are mostly sold. You can buy them in the United States from China. You just have to wait a long time for them to come in the mail.
I use these drives to back up my programs and data. Here is an example of me using one of my custom drives in my USB adapter. I was copying data to my computer that I copied from another older computer as backup. It's on my jet drive now.
